The County of Morris Department of Public Works will be repairing the existing bridge deck located along Openaki Road. The bridge is located 500 yards north of the intersection with Casterline Road and 0.1 miles south of the intersection with Mountainside Drive.  On or about August 8, 2018, Bridge Maintenance Crews will be closing Openaki Road to through traffic. Local residents will be able to access Openaki Road from either end.  The repair work will begin after the road is closed and should be completed within three (3) days (by August 10, 2018), weather permitting.

This bridge is still scheduled for full replacement in 2020.
