2022 Junior Police Academy - 07/11 to 07/15

The Denville Police Department is happy to announce that we will be holding our Junior Police Academy program this summer from July 11th through July 15th!  The academy will be held at Morris Knolls High School from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day.  There is a $75 registration fee and each participating recruit will receive a uniform (hat, t-shirt and shorts) to wear while attending the academy.

This year's academy class will be restricted to 65 recruits.  All applicants must be Denville residents between the ages of 11 and 14 who are currently in the 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade for the 2021-2022 school year.  Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.  The first 65 eligible applications received will determine who is accepted to this year’s recruit class.

Applications can be downloaded from our Junior Police Academy page or picked up from the dispatcher at Denville Police Headquarters.  No applications will be accepted before 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 2nd and the application deadline is Friday, May 27th at 4:00 p.m.
